Fort Myers, Fla. — The Coast Guard Academy baseball team scored six runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to earn a 15-14 win over Wilmington College on Wednesday in the Gene Cusic Classic.

Wilmington led 10-3 in the second inning and 14-9 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Jon Pressley's threerun triple tied the game at 14-14 and Alex Murdoch singled home Pressley with the game-winning run.

Luke Thompson's two-out RBI single kept the Bears alive in the ninth. After Alex Cordes walked, Will Stephens' ground ball to second appeared to end the game.
