Helen Ross

Newton, N.J. — Helen Martha (Feeley) Ross, passed on Thursday, March 22, 2018, while in Port St. Lucie, Fla. with her daughter and caregiver, Susan Losey.

Helen was born on April 8, 1928, to Ada (Rackley) Feeley and John V. Feeley, in Jersey City, N.J. Helen was the mother of 12 children, Raymond D. Ross Jr., Robert J. Ross, Frank Ross, Helen M. (Ross) McKenna, William Ross, Susan (Ross) Losey, Steven D. Ross, David Ross, Patrick Ross, Roseann (Ross) Sliker, Brian Ross and John Ross.

Helen was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Raymond D. Ross Sr. who passed away on Sept. 9, 2012. Helen is also predeceased by children, Frank Ross, Helen McKenna, Steven D. Ross and John Ross.

Helen will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Helen loved to laugh and liked a good joke; she also had a sharp tongue if you got on her bad side.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, April 28, 2018, in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main St. (Route 206), Newton, N.J. Interment will follow in the Newton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, in the funeral home. There will also be a celebration of Helen’s Life at 1 p.m., at the Andover Borough Fire House on Route 206 in Andover, N.J.
