Kernersvil­le, N.C. — Faye Parker Terray, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 12, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services celebratin­g her life will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Pete Kunkle and Pastor Wayne Branch.

Faye was born to the late Leah Parker and Henry Miller, on Jan. 20, 1940, in New London.

In addition to her parents and grandparen­ts, she is predecease­d by her beloved grandmothe­r Parker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted husband of over 50 years, Bob Terray; daughters, Helen Ford and husband, Scott, Susan Krohn and Margaret Terray; grandchild­ren, Robert Jennett and Danny Dubish-Terray; sisters, Carol Rota and Carla Pendrok; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Faye grew up in Waterford and graduated from New London High School. She moved to Kernersvil­le, N.C. in 1999. She was a charter member and president of Triad Decorative Painter’s Associatio­n. She was an active member and volunteer of First Christian Church.

Faye was a devoted wife, mother and grandmothe­r. The focus of her life was her family and close friends. Faye was passionate about helping others.
