Ledyard Oland E. Smith, 66, of 2 Thames View Pentway, Gales Ferry, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving without a license.

Norwich Herman Houser Jr., 54, of Chaplin, was charged Friday with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell and possession of less than a half ounce of a cannabis-type substance.

Elsa Gappica, 41, of 61 Fountain St. was charged Saturday with assault on a police officer.

Oles Jean-Baptiste, 40, of 91 Sandy Lane was charged Saturday with breach of peace.

Cassandra Murphy, 28, of 91 Sandy Lane was charged Saturday with breach of peace, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree threatening and possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana. State police — Westbrook Scott Faille, 37, of 1564 Route 12, Gales Ferry, was charged Friday in Middletown with two counts of failure to respond to an infraction, two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court and violation of probation.

Lori A. Brinkerhoff, 54, of 181 Somerset Lane, Old Lyme, was charged April 11 in Old Lyme with risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct.

Stonington Bonnie S. Bessoni, 40, of 34 Beaver Dam Road, Old Saybrook, was charged Monday with third-degree larceny and credit card theft.

Waterford Faye Divita, 42, of 19 Denison Ave., New London, was charged Saturday with violation of probation.
