Alice A. Soscia has joined Safe Futures, formerly The Women’s Center of Southeaste­rn CT, as director of major gifts and developmen­t. Before joining Safe Futures, she was the Leader Giving and Campaign Director at the United Way of Southeaste­rn Connecticu­t for nearly 12 years. She lives n Stonington. The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT’s Community Concierge program will present a Sushi-Making Class on Thursday, May 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Pink Basil , 27 Coogan Blvd., Olde Mistick Village.
