Montville — Adabelle “Belle” Dubicki, 76, of Uncasville, passed away in her sleep at home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, following a prolonged battle with chronic obstructiv­e pulmonary disease.

Belle was born in Canterbury and attended Norwich Regional Technical School, where she met the love of her life, Benjamin John Dubicki Jr. They were married on May 6, 1961, and settled in Norwich, where they gave birth to two daughters, Terrie and Tammie. In 1971, they moved to their current residence in Uncasville.

Belle enjoyed crafting and baking and was well known for her éclairs. She thoroughly enjoyed entertaini­ng friends and family and finding yard sale treasures. Her life was dedicated to serving others. She worked at Bee Bee Dairy, Prime Steer restaurant, D’Elia’s Grinder Shop, the Sheraton Hotel, and retired from The William W. Backus Hospital.

Belle is survived by her husband, Ben; daughter, Tammie and her husband, Bill Hollowood; grandchild­ren, Kyle Dubicki, Christophe­r Hollowood and wife, Melanie, Jonathon Hollowood, Taylor Hollowood; and great-grandson, Dominic Hollowood. She also is survived by three brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Terrie Dubicki.

Memorial calling hours celebratin­g Belle’s life will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, May 18, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. A reception immediatel­y follows at Caddy Shack Café, 685 New London Turnpike, Norwich.
