Harry Molyneux
Lyme — Harry R. Molyneux, of Lyme, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at home.
Harry was born on Aug. 31, 1937, in Old Saybrook, the son of Harry R. and Janet G. (Chappell) Molyneux. He was employed by Electric Boat for 22 years.
Through making cabinets, hutches, tables, other furniture, whirly gigs and other lawn ornaments, Harry was known for his carpentry and woodworking.
Harry is survived by two daughters, Lori Corey of Old Lyme and Susan Molyneux of Salem; four sons, Harry Molyneux III of Norwich, Michael Molyneux of Lyme, Richard Molyneux of Lyme and Brian Molyneux of Salem; two sonsin law, James Corey and Larry Whipple; two daughters-inlaw, Carol Molyneux and Victoria Filimon; three grandchildren, Robert Molyneux of Norwich, Crystal Dobrinski of Pittsfield, Mass. and Raymond Molyneux of Hawaii; and one great-grandaughter, Brittany Molyneux of Chester.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie (Congdon) Molyneux; his daughter, Linda Molyneux; his son, Kenneth Molyneux; his three brothers, Lawrence, Walter and George; and a sister, Janet.
Calling hours will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Lane, Old Lyme. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, in Congdon-Griffin Cemetery, Beaverbrook Road, Lyme.
