Waterford — Donna L. Conley, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at The William W. Backus Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Donna was born Sept. 4, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Max and Marguerite Garcia. She grew up in New London and graduated from New London High School. Donna was involved in youth sports and was a volunteer for New London American Little League and New London Babe Ruth. She could be found on a baseball field on any given weekend. Donna was also involved in New London Cub Scouts.

She was an avid Red Sox fan and never met a cat she didn’t love. Donna was a kind and caring person. She loved music and shared that love with her son and his friends, taking them to many concerts. Her passion was for Bon Jovi but she always had an open ear to new music. Donna retired after many years of service for Aramark Food Services at the New London Coast Guard Academy.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Beth Conley; grandchild­ren, Brady and Ava Conley; and sister-in-law, Carol Garcia.

She is predecease­d by her brother, Armand Garcia.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, New London.

Bozrah — Charles Fowler Green, 63, died Saturday, May 12, 2018. Charlie had worked as a building contractor for many years all over the world. Graveside services with military honors will be observed at noon Friday (June 15), at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457. There are no calling hours.
