FOXWOODS TO ROLL OUT RACING SIMULATORS, WINGSTOP RESTAURANT

Mashantuck­et — Foxwoods Resort Casino plans to introduce a virtual race-car driving attraction next month.

Racing simulators engineered by Winfield Heritage Racing, billed as the “industry leader in motorsport heritage,” will be installed on the casino’s Great Cedar concourse, where they will simulate the experience of driving Formula One and NASCAR race cars, Foxwoods announced in a news release.

The simulators feature “motion technology,” “tactile feedback” and are equipped with software that simulates the conditions of famous racing circuits.

“We are proud to add yet another interactiv­e attraction that allows our guests to experience Foxwoods like never before,” Jason Guyot, Foxwoods’ senior vice president of resort operations, said. “The Winfield Heritage Racing are the best racing simulators in the market and offer an unmatched sensation for guests, instantly transporti­ng them to the high-speed world of profession­al auto racing.”

Foxwoods also announced plans to open a Wingstop restaurant next month in the Great Cedar Food Court across from Cedars Steakhouse and Oyster Bar.

The restaurant’s menu will include bone-in and boneless chicken wings and a wide variety of sauces and side dishes.

Founded in Garland, Texas, more than 20 years ago, Dallas-based Wingstop operates and franchises more than 1,000 locations in the United States and other countries.
