STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER
Lauren Bourque of St. Marys, Ga., holds a strawberry for her son, Conner Bourque, 6, to take a bite while they spend time picking strawberries Tuesday at the Scott’s Yankee Farmer pick-your-own strawberry patch, located on Chesterfield Road in East Lyme. Lauren and Conner were picking strawberries with other family members from Georgia while visiting relatives in Niantic. The first day of strawberry picking was Monday and runs through July 4.
