Norwich — Annette Dubicki, age 67, of Norwich, passed away on June 16, 2018, at Harrington Court in Colchester. She was born on Dec. 28, 1950, to Emily (Fugitt) Bailey and the late Frederick Bailey in Washington, D.C. She was educated in Washington, D.C., and Manchester. Annette married her beloved husband John on Jan. 8, 1972.

Annette worked as a nursery school instructor at the Park Congregati­onal Church and was also a para-educator for the Norwich school system. She was very active with Park Congregati­onal Church, working on numerous committees and was a member of the bell choir. Her greatest love was spending time with her husband, children and grandchild­ren. She greatly enjoyed vacations with family and friends.

Besides her mother, Emily Bailey of Ashford, Annette is survived by her loving husband John Dubicki of Norwich, daughter Kristin Dishaw and her husband Marc of Old Lyme, daughter Katie Black and her husband Anthony of Norwich, daughter Jennifer Dubicki of Norwich, and grandchild­ren Kylie and Prestin Dishaw. She also leaves behind brothers Wendal Bailey of Chaplin, Timothy Bailey and his wife Nancy of Willington, Doug Bailey and his wife Lori of New Britain, and Mike Bailey of Stafford Springs; sisters Deborah Bailey of Ashford, Pamela Lentz of Farmington, Cynthia Bailey of Willington; and many nieces and nephews. She is predecease­d by her father Fred Bailey, brother Fred Bailey Jr., and sister Ruth Bailey. Also by her in-law parents Chester and Eleanor Dubicki.

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Park Congregati­onal Church on Broadway, in Norwich. Burial will immediatel­y follow at St. Joseph Cemetery on Boswell Avenue in Norwich.
