The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT, Young Professionals of Eastern CT, and Community Concierge program invite the public to participate in a hike and potluck picnic at Bluff Point State Park in Groton on Saturday, June 30, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Community members will gather at Bluff Point’s picnic area at 11 a.m. to enjoy dishes, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. The group will then take a hike on Bluff Point’s trails. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to all. Trail levels are easy to moderate. Be prepared with bug spray and sunscreen. The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours networking event at Center for Hospice Care Southeast Connecticut, 227 Dunham St., Norwich, on Thursday, June 21, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Weather permitting, the event will be hosted in their Community Healing Garden offering chair massages, tours, food, refreshments and a door prize drawing.
