LOCAL ARTIST JUDY COTTON PRESENTS SOLO EXHIBIT AT LYMAN ALLYN

- — Mary Biekert

Offering a mediation on global warming and the forces that threaten the natural world, local contemporary artist Judy Cotton will hold a solo show at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum over the next few months with a focus on water, glaciers, melting ice, and insect life.

“Hidden Water,” a multi-media exhibition, will take place within the museum and outside, over the 12 acres of museum grounds. An opening reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the museum. The reception is free for members, $10 for non-members. RSVP to (860) 443-2545, ext. 2129.
