Engine Room’s Bloody Mary

We all know that Mystic’s Engine Room has some pretty great food, but did you know that their Bloody Mary ($9) is equally fantastic? After going on the hunt for the best Bloody Mary in the region (because, yes, I love them that much), I think it may be safe to say that this is the one. Theirs is complex and tasty. With a burst of flavorful tomato juice in the beginning, the drink rounds out with later notes of something smoky (I’m guessing that’s the Worcestershire sauce). Combine that with a bit of a spicy kick and some fantastic olives, and I was a happy camper. Oh, and the drink is quite strong. I had to take a stroll around Mystic afterward, but then again, I’m a lightweight.
