George Sawicki, 51, of 266 Crystal Ave. was charged Thursday with driving an unregistered vehicle, misuse of plates and failure to display plates.
Irving Johnson, 50, of 51 Mechanic St., Pawcatuck, was charged Thursday with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Dawn Trovato, 32, of 14 Ledge Road was charged Thursday with prostitution and second-degree failure to appear in court.
Jerome McArdle, 62, of 9 Osprey Lane, Mystic, was charged Thursday with patronizing a prostitute.
David Mezard, 22, of 5 Hartwell Drive, Groton, was charged with first-degree failure to appear in court and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Kathryn Hanley, 29, of 40 Quarry Dock Road, Niantic, was charged Thursday with driving with a suspended license, insurance coverage failing to meet minimum requirements and stop sign violation.
Matthew Baxter, 26, of 30 Braman Road was charged Thursday with violation of probation.

New London — “Let’s Talk,” a community conversation featuring skits and dialogue on topics facing youth, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Williams Park on Broad Street.
The New London Community and Campus Coalition, Safe Futures and New London Youth Affairs are holding the free community event on relationships, drugs, alcohol, prevention, awareness, driving, peer pressure and healthy lifestyles for youths, among other topics. The conversation and skits will be presented by the youths that were employed by the NLCCC through the NYLA Summer Youth Employment Program in collaboration with Safe Futures.
The rain location will be Richard Martin Center Gymnasium, 120 Broad St. in New London.
