Charles Piskura Marion Dahlgren

Waterford — Charles Joseph Piskura, 79, entered eternal life on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018.

He was the son of the late Stephen and Anna (Krasnak) Piskura. Mr. Piskura served in the U.S. Army and was a history teacher at Waterford High School for many years.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, in the Noank Baptist Church, 18 Cathedral Heights, Groton. Interment will be private.

The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with his care.

Mystic — Marion V. (Doucette) Dahlgren, 93, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018.

She is predeceased by her husband, Arvid I. Dahlgren who died in 2006.

All funeral services will be private for the family.

The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl St., Mystic, is assisting the family.
