Patrick Reynolds

Groton — Patrick Donald Reynolds, 30, of Groton, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at his home.

Born in New London, he attended local schools and was a graduate of Ledyard High School and attended Three Rivers Community College.

Pat was hardworking and energetic, sharing a special bond working alongside with his stepfather as co-owner at A&M Paving in Ledyard for many years. He held a Class A driver’s license and was a highly skilled equipment operator.

He was the loving son of Karen Mea and her husband, Anthony, of Ledyard; his father, Donald Reynolds and his wife, Leyda, of Bronx, N.Y.; sister, Kara Reynolds; three stepsisters, Andrea Mea and her fiancé, Daniele Rotolo and their children, Daniele and Viviana, Rachel Mea and Andreina Mendez. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Melrose and Betty Beal; aunt, Kelly Stevens and her husband, Peter; uncles, Marc and Charles Beal; and several cousins including one very special cousin, Todd Mitchell Stevens.

Pat was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Barbara Reynolds. Pat was an avid sports fan who also enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He will be remembered for his warm heart and his abundant sense of humor. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his loving family.

His family will receive family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Mystic Funeral Home located on Route 1 in Mystic. Funeral services and burial for Pat will be held privately.
