NEW LONDON MARITIME SOCIETY AND PARANORMAL EXPERTS TO HOST TRIP TO LEDGE LIGHTHOUSE

-

The New London Maritime Society will host tours to Ledge Lighthouse with The Atlantic Paranormal Society as part of a fundraiser for the Maritime Society Saturday. Tours will start at 1 and 4 p.m. and depart from the floating dock next to New London’s City Pier on a Project Oceanology boat.

Paranormal Society lead investigator Traci Boiselle and investigator Cody DesBiens will lead both tours and plan to cover “basic theories of the paranormal and why hauntings might occur,” while also explaining the methods and equipment used by investigators to aid in their paranormal research.

The Atlantic Paranormal Society is the same group associated with the long-running “Ghost Hunters” television show, which aired on the Syfy Channel from 2004 to 2016.

Trips are weather-dependent, and space is limited. Reservations must be made at least six hours in advance. A waiver of liability must also be signed prior to the trip, and guest cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Notice of trip cancellations due to inclement weather will be sent over email, and it is recommended that email is checked two hours prior to a booked trip. All passengers must wear appropriate footwear. Deck shoes or sneakers are recommended.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $150 and can be booked by calling (860) 447-8700 or by visiting www.nlmaritimesociety.org
