Lamont is the candidate who has the good ideas
Of all the candidates for governor Ned Lamont has the most well thought out ideas for Connecticut’s problems. Just compare the candidates’ websites.
On “Building a Fair Economy” Lamont will work for equal pay for equal work, paid family leave, $15 minimum wage. He created and grew a successful business here in Connecticut, not for international corporations in other countries. He understands the needs of small and large businesses.
On transportation, Lamont recognizes Connecticut must raise money for our highways. In spite of President Donald Trump’s campaign rhetoric on infrastructure, we know no help will come from Washington.
Lamont recognizes that Connecticut’s property tax system is broken. He plans to restore and expand the property tax credit for working families.
On education Lamont will invest in vo-tec, job training, and workforce management. He’ll bring employers and educational institutions together to prepare Connecticut residents for well-paying jobs.
Lamont gives back to the state. He lives, votes, and works in Connecticut.
Compare the candidates’ websites. One of them proposes cutting the income tax and three other taxes — a sure way to bankrupt the state.
