GROTON CITY WOMAN, EX-BOYFRIEND CHARGED AFTER FIGHT FEATURING KNIFING, STRANGLING
Groton — A woman stabbed her ex-boyfriend during a fight at her home in which she was strangled Saturday, city police said.
Police charged 25-year-old Alisa Vancedarfield, of 125 Poquonnock Road, Apt. 3, with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
Released on a $25,000 bond, she was due to be arraigned Monday in New London Superior Court.
Police charged 33-year-old Anthony Porter, whose injury they say was not life threatening, with second-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct. The Brooklyn, N.Y., resident was treated at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, police said.
Held on a $25,000 bond, Porter also was due in court Monday. and second-degree failure to appear in court in connection with the Oct. 19 robbery.
Police say Dubicki entered the restaurant at 337 Old Canterbury Turnpike at 10:18 p.m., pointed a gun at a clerk and removed money from the cash register.
Held on a $265,000 bond, Dubicki was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Norwich Superior Court.
Police could not disclose how much was stolen. Police released a security photo of the suspect following the robbery. Police did not release information on how Dubicki was identified as a suspect or the circumstances of his arrest Monday.
