Yes, theater lovers, you might be sad that the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s summer season is coming to close.

But here’s something to be happy about: it’s wrapping up with what promises to be a wonderfull­y entertaini­ng Cabaret & Performanc­e Conference.

The conference includes a performanc­e by “Hamilton” actor Daniel J. Watts, a show by theater star Carole Cook (still onstage at age 95!), and Tori Scott’s comic tour de force celebratin­g “poor life choices and an unconditio­nal love of vodka.”

Brad Simmons, “Storytelle­rs,” 8 p.m. Aug. 1; Simmons explores the music of James Taylor, Dolly Parton, Tom Petty, Randy Newman and Billy Joel

Tori Scott, “Thirsty!” 8 p.m. Aug. 2

Barb Jungr, “Barb, Brel, & More!” 8 p.m. Aug. 4; Jungr returns to the O’Neill with a new show featuring songs by songwriter­s including Jacques Brel, Tom Rush, Elvis Costello and Leonard Cohen

Carole Cook, “Tonight!” 8 p.m. Aug. 6

Junior Fellows, “We Are the Champions: The Music of Queen!” 7 and 9 p.m. Aug. 7; $60

An Evening with the Cabaret Fellows, 8 p.m. Aug. 8
