After Special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony last week, this headline — “No Russia exoneration for Trump despite his claims” — resulted in comments from many readers of theday.com.

“I feel sorry for him. This cannot be easy sitting in front of a bunch of jerks looking to get sound bites.” “25 million and counting to get notta.”

“Hopefully, though I doubt it, this will be the end of it and maybe our legislators can get to work and get something done! They are all clowns!” “It was so convoluted and stilting that I couldn’t listen for long.” “Impeach!”

“Well, that was an embarrassing spectacle. Impeachment should be off the table or Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler might as well hold up a Trump 2020 sign.”

“Mueller showed he didn’t write or read the Hoax report. He appeared to be an early Alzheimer’s patient. He brought along his lackey knowing it hoping he could answer questions hoping to protect himself from perjury. And the entire sordid spectacle proved beyond any doubt, President Trump is innocent. Mueller wouldn’t talk about the Fake Dossier, claimed he didn’t know about Fusion GPS and essentially admitted he allowed the destruction of Strzok’s and Page’s gov’t issued phones. Which if he received a text from either is real obstruction of justice. This all leads to Obama.”

“Mr. Chojnacki - I know that what you have said is the belief of the current president’s die-hard supporters. I am confident that that trope is just so much hot air and that the US Attorney for CT will so state when he completes his investigation.”
