Trust the Constitution, not Donald J. Trump

-

Donald Trump’s campaign for the presidency had over 140 contacts with Russians, including Vladimir Putin’s agents coordinating with Trump’s son and son-in-law. Trump encouraged and profited from Russia’s illegal theft of Americans’ private information. These are facts, not opinions.

How does Trump serve Putin’s Russia?

Trump has weakened America’s military forces, CIA, FBI, and intelligence agencies. Trump has persuaded Republicans to defend and advance Russia’s interests over our own security needs. Trump is damaging NATO and deserting allies in the Middle East, South Korea, and Ukraine.

Trump is increasing our national debt ($23 trillion) and devastating trade. Trump attacks the First Amendment, declaring our press to be “enemies of the people.” He calls immigrants subhuman. He employs white supremacists. He pardons war criminals. He lies incessantly.

Unlike any past president, Trump screams that impeachment is illegitimate, claiming he can do whatever he likes as president because he is above the law.

Consider, if Trump can ignore Congress (Article I), then he can also declare illegitimate the Judiciary/ Supreme Court (Article III). What is to stop him from canceling elections? President for Life Trump? Is this America? Do Republicans want this?
