William F. Dougherty, 30, of Westerly was charged Friday with evading responsibi­lity, failure to maintain lane, traveling unreasonab­ly fast, driving without a license and interferin­g with an officer/resisting arrest.

John S. Westervelt II, 30, of 7 Boulder Court, Mystic, was charged Thursday with violation of a protective order and breach of peace.

Julie M. Kozlowski, 30, of 194 Mirra Drive was charged Friday with second-degree breach of peace, two counts of third-degree assault, interferin­g with an officer/resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.

Megan E. Chioccola, 36, of 156 Michigan Drive was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to obey stop sign, failure to maintain proper lane, speeding and driving with a suspended license.

New London — A robbery was reported late Friday night at Cumberland Farms at 215 Montauk Ave.

The robbery took place about 10:10 p.m. The suspect fled the scene before police were called, according to city police Capt. Brian Wright.
