• Connecticu­t College junior Maddie Ford has been named to the College Sports Informatio­n Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District At-Large women's swimming team, making her eligible for Academic All-America honor. Ford, a double major in computer science and art, earned 2020 CSCAA All-America honors in the 200-yard freestyle as well as the 400 free relay after qualifying for NCAA Division III Championsh­ips, which were canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. She was also a two-time NCAA All-American as a sophomore in 2019 and is a six-time All-New England Small College Athletic Conference honoree in her career and a member of the 400 and 800 free relay squads which hold school records. • Conn College senior Connor Rodericks has been named to the CoSIDA District II Academic All-America At-Large men's hockey team for the second time in his career, making him eligible for Academic All-America honors. Rodericks, an economics major, graduated as the most decorated student-athlete in the 40-year history of the men's ice hockey program and was most recently the recipient of the institutio­n's Anita L. DeFrantz Award as the athletic department's top male athlete. He ended his career with five school records, including a .929 career save percentage, a 2.47 goals against average, and four shutouts. Rodericks' .939 save percentage and 2.02 goals against average this season were also single-season school records. In addition, Rodericks was named the NESCAC Player of the Year, a CCM/ AHCA All-America Second Team selection, and a New England Hockey Writers Associatio­n Division II/III All-Region honoree. The goalie is the only Camel men's ice hockey player to earn NESCAC Player of the Year and All-America honors.

• Conn College women's track & field standouts Meredith Cronin and Koko Mensah have been named All-Americans by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Associatio­n

(USTFCCCA). Cronin, who was also named an All-American for placing 33rd at the 2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championsh­ips this past fall, received the award for her efforts in the 5,000-meter run. She broke an 18-year school record with a time of 17:17.40 at Boston University's Valentine Invitation­al on Feb. 15 and qualified for the nationals, which were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mensah, who qualified for four NCAA Championsh­ip events in her career, registered the third-best shot put mark in the country this past winter by registerin­g a school-record toss of 46-feet, 10-inches at the New England Division III Championsh­ips on Feb. 29. She ended her career with a school record in the shot put, both indoors and outdoors, as well as the weight throw. The Division III Track & Field Executive Committee decided to recognize all NCAA championsh­ip qualifiers as All-Americans. • Conn College men's track & field freshman Jeffrey Love has been named an All-American by the USTFCCCA. Love qualified for the 2020 NCAA Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championsh­ips in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:30.69 during a meet at Tufts on March 7. The nationals were canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. • Coast Guard Academy's Josiah Davis,

Adora Lawrence and Ben Zarlengo have earned All-America recognitio­n from the USTFCCCA for the 2020 indoor season. The Division III Track & Field Executive Committee decided to recognize all NCAA championsh­ip qualifiers as All-Americans. Zarlengo had the third best throw in the nation in the weight throw with a school record throw of 19.23 meters. Davis qualified in the 800 with a time of 1:53.58, the 12th fastest time posted this season. He earned All-America honors indoors in the 800 last season with an eighth-place finish. Lawrence was set to compete in the 400. She qualified with a time of 58.19, the 15th best time in Division III this season.
