NORWICH ADULT EDUCATION HOLDS GRADUATION CEREMONY

Norwich — Twenty-two adult students received high school diplomas or GEDs Monday during a Norwich Regional Adult Education ceremony at Kelly STEAM Magnet Middle School.

Norwich Regional Adult Education has three ways to earn a high school diploma: High School Credit Diploma Program, GED Program, and the National External Diploma Program (NEDP).

Graduates are: Briana Almalkawi, Morgan R. Blinn, Zachary R. Carey, Min Min Feng, Jasmin M. Fonseca, Coco Gavaza, Baraa M. Hamydeh, Jovany R. Morisset, Kaylee M. Moseley, Mouhamed Ngom, Daequon D. J. Price, Angela M. Rivera, Yury E. Rivera Mejia, Damien Santiago, Morgan L. Thoma, Veronica Torres, Amy L. Yaras, Edgar Alvarado, Cecily N. Martinez, Richardson Mezidor, Jamie L. Morgan and Grey R. Lacy.

In addition to these graduates, the ceremony honored students in the Certified Nursing Assistant Training program and Manufactur­ing Technician Training program.

Certified Nursing Assistant Training: Fatima Da Silva Amado, Sarah DJean Augustin, Mireille Desormeau Ambroise, Yolette Gillis, Marie Pierlyne Innocent, Mirlande Saintil and Fengxi Zhao.

Manufactur­ing Technician Training-MSSC Certified Production Certificat­e: Queslin Derisma, Genci Duli, Jean Arbel Georges and Thony Lordilia.

Norwich Regional Adult Education serves adult students age 17 and up in Bozrah, East Lyme, Franklin, Ledyard, Lisbon, North Stonington, Norwich, Preston, Salem, Sprague, Stonington, and Voluntown.

The program operates three sites: a main campus in Norwich, and satellite sites at East Lyme High School and Stonington High School.
