Waterford — Pamela Buzenski “Pam” Bobinski, 71, of Waterford died March 4, 2023, at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, after a short illness. She was born March 31, 1951, in New London, the daughter of Dr. Henry and Eugenie Phillips Buzenski.

Pam attended local schools and studied business at Mitchell College. She worked as a bank teller at the former New London Federal Savings and Loan.

Pam was a proud member of the Society of Mayflower Descendant­s in the State of Connecticu­t.

She was married to John T. Bobinski, the love of her life, who died in January 2019. Singing and music were the second love of her life.

Survivors include two daughters, Michele Jensen and Tara Slayton and her husband Stephen Slayton, both of Florida; grandchild­ren Patrick Sawicki, Jayden Drobiak, Tyler Slayton and Samantha Jensen; a great-grandson, Issac Dresh; a sister, Deborah Picardi; a niece, Briana Picardi; and numerous cousins, along with a group of special friends she was very close to and her very special dog, Hunny.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Church, New London. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New London, with her parents and her husband John.
