Here, she met her dear sister-in-law Florence Dipietro of Golden Beach, Fla., who introduced her to her beloved husband, Kasimer. The two married in Simsbury on June 25, 1955. Mary enjoyed many activities throughout her life, most importantly, spending time with her family. She had a green thumb that made beautiful gardens every year. She was also an avid bridge partner, enjoyed tennis, loved to travel extensively with her husband and was a talented chef. She had a tender spot in her heart for animals, always welcoming them into her home. But most of all, Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was at every sports game, every school event, and always made sure to take part in her children’s and grandchildren’s interests. Her love was and will be ever present. Mary was a woman of faith and had a strong belief in the resurrection.
