Milyoni’s John Corpus nowPhotobu­cket CEO

Photobucke­t confirmed Friday it replaced itsCEOafte­r longtime leader Tom Munro and several other top executives quit.

Munro, who became CEO in 2010 after his firm Ontela acquired Photobucke­t, left in December, said Todd Bars, Photobucke­t’s director of marketing and e- commerce.

Other December departures included Kate Hare, the company’s chief product officer, and Michael Clark, chief technology officer. Marketing manager Derek Cann also left the company.

“Tom made a decision to leave Photobucke­t back in December,” Bars said. “Michael Clark and Kate had been with the company for quite some time. They decided to pursue other things.”

JohnCorpus, who joined Photobucke­t after his social video site Milyoni was acquired by Photobucke­t in April, is now CEO.

The company has hired Chris Peacock, previously with Wazee Digital, as its CTO.

Photobucke­t became one of Denver’s best- known Internet firms in the early 2000s as consumers discovered the site was a great place to store and share digital photos.

Munro could not be reached Friday. But his LinkedIn profile shows he joined Seattle 3- D laserprint­er startup Glowforge last month. Glowforge was started by Dan Shapiro, Ontela’s founder.

Photobucke­t, which employs 53, went on a shopping spree last year, picking up mobile apps Lasso and Milyoni. It also raised more than $ 6 million, including a Series F round in October of $ 2.2 million.
