ROAD RALLY FUELS SENATORS IN L.A.

los angeles» Mika Zibanejad scored a tiebreakin­g power-play goal with 6:50 left as the Senators roared back from a two-goal deficit in the third period Saturday for a 5-3 victory over the Kings.

Bobby Ryan and Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored 26 seconds apart earlier in the third period as the Senators stunned the Pacific Division leaders and all-star goalie Jonathan Quick with three goals in just over five minutes.

Alex Chiasson also scored for Ottawa and Mark Borowiecki contribute­d an empty-net goal. Craig Anderson stopped 30 shots for Ottawa, which won for only the third time in nine games.

“We were desperate for a win, and we found a way to get it done,” said Anderson, who posted his 200th NHL victory. “We dug deep in the third, got some good hard plays by our guys and got a little bit of ‘puck luck.’ ”

SATURDAY’S HIGHLIGHTS

Cory Schneider made 38 saves for his fourth shutout of the season, leading the Devils to a 2-0 victory over the Coyotes. Selected as an all-star for the first time in his career, Schneider is 12-6-2 in 20 starts on the road this season. Reid Boucher scored early in the first period and Kyle Palmieri contribute­d his Arizona-leading 18th goal just 18 seconds into the third period. ... Mats Zuccarello scored in a shootout and Henrik Lundqvist reached 20 wins for the 11th consecutiv­e season as the Rangers defeated the Flyers 3-2. Lundqvist made 36 saves and improved to 20-12-4. He is the only goaltender in NHL history to have won 20 games in each of his first 11 seasons. ... The Bruins beat the Maple Leafs 3-2, getting the winning goal from Brad Marchand with 47 seconds left. ... Jori Lehtera scored 2:04 into overtime, lifting the Blues to a 4-3 victory over the Canadiens. ... The Sabres cruised to a 4-1 win over the Capitals with help from Chad Johnson’s 33 saves. Buffalo’s second goal was a shorthande­d tally late in the first period by Tim Schaller. ... The Predators blanked the Wild 3-0.

King-sized contract. The Kings signed Anze Kopitar to an eightyear, $80 million contract, making the 28-year-old Slovenian center one of the NHL’s highestpai­d players. “He’s worth every penny of it,” said Kings coach Darryl Sutter. Kopitar was the Kings’ leading scorer in each of the previous eight seasons while leading them to two Stanley Cup titles. ... The Ducks traded forward Carl Hagelin to the Penguins for forward David Perron and defenseman Adam Clendening.
