A 39-year-old man has been sen­tenced to life in prison with­out the pos­si­bil­ity of pa­role for stab­bing his room­mate in the heart and then dumping his body in Com­merce City last year, pros­e­cu­tors say.

Mark Antonio Lewis was con­victed Fri­day of first-de­gree mur­der and ev­i­dence tam­per­ing in the death of 56-year-old For­rest Pask­ins. The 17th Ju­di­cial Dis­trict At­tor­ney’s Of­fice says Lewis stabbed Pask­ins dur­ing an ar­gu­ment.

Woman gets pro­ba­tion for fa­tal road-rage crash.

A Fred­er­ick woman was sen­tenced Fri­day to 12 years pro­ba­tion for her role in a road-rage crash that killed two peo­ple and left her par­a­lyzed from the neck down.

Na­cole Lee Grim, 30, was con­victed in Oc­to­ber by a Weld County jury on two counts of ve­hic­u­lar homi­cide caused by reck­less driv­ing and one count of third-de­gree as­sault.

On April 15, 2015, Grim was driv­ing a GMC En­voy south­bound on In­ter­state 25 near Mead when she lost con­trol, over­cor­rected and smashed through a ca­ble bar­rier into on­com­ing traf­fic. The sub­se­quent crash killed Dang Many “Dani” Man­tkhong, 34, of Parker, and An­drea Weiss, 39, of Fort Collins.

Grim also was or­dered to give 100 pre­sen­ta­tions on the im­pacts of road rage, in­clud­ing how it af­fected the vic­tims and her­self.

A Broom­field man was con­victed of first-de­gree mur­der Fri­day and sen­tenced to life in prison with­out the pos­si­bil­ity of pa­role for am­bush­ing an un­armed man out of jeal­ousy, pros­e­cu­tors said.

Matthew Brit­ton, 55, was con­victed in the shoot­ing death of Kobe Wi­ley last year in­side Brit­ton’s Broom­field home.

Wi­ley was shot five times in the back of the head, once at close range, ac­cord­ing to the Broom­field County Dis­trict At­tor­ney’s Of­fice.

Colorado man was shot and killed Wed­nes­day night in an Ok­la­homa town, au­thor­i­ties say.

Roy Lee Weeaks, of Cen­ten­nial, died dur­ing an al­ter­ca­tion in Cordell, Okla., ac­cord­ing to the Ok­la­homa State Bureau of In­ves­ti­ga­tion.
