Thank you for the ar­ti­cle on Boul­der mail car­rier Adrian Hel­wig, who likely saved the life of an el­derly man who had fallen in his drive­way and would prob­a­bly have died had not a Good Sa­mar­i­tan come along. Hel­wig’s ac­tions make him a true hero. Un­for­tu­nately, the word “hero” is of­ten ap­plied to peo­ple whose ac­tions do not war­rant the com­pli­ment. In a world with so much vi­o­lence and strife, the ar­ti­cle about Hel­wig’s con­cern for a fel­low hu­man be­ing truly bright­ened my day.
