Father knows what’s best for the Ball boys

someday run at Chino Hills, the same frenetic style he and his four brothers played on the courts of south Los Angeles. No shot was a bad shot. Faster was always better. The offense is a reflection of LaVar — confident, brash, unforgivin­g. His sons have never played any other way.

Ceding control, you see, is not in LaVar’s playbook. He balked at the idea of entrusting his sons to someone else’s AAU team. So he started his own team, called Big Ballers VXT.
