It’s been a good week for aging touring acts — or heritage acts, as they’re called in the industry — judging by the new concert announcements this week. At the top of the list is Paul Simon, the beloved singer-songwriter who will command Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 28. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. March 17. ($49.50-$139.50, axs.com)

Lyle Lovett and His Large Band’s annual show at Red Rocks gets a shot in the arm this year with the inclusion of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s 50th anniversary tour, featuring “additional players” Jimmy Ibbotson, Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas.
