Man sentenced in crash that killed niece, 6 B A man who

pueblo» drove his truck into a Pueblo home, hitting and killing his 6-year-old niece, has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.

The Pueblo Chieftain reported 36-year-old Danny Case was sentenced Friday for the March 2015 death of Alexis Case. He previously pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and vehicular homicide while driving under the influence.

Prosecutor­s say Case crashed his car into his brother’s home following a heated argument. The girl was hit by the truck and pushed into the basement.

Case’s blood-alcohol content was 0.17 percent about an hour after the crash, more than twice the legal limit for driving.
