PACKED WITH POIGNANCY
AUniversity of Denver student Tuesday walks past backpacks that are part of the “Send Silence Packing” traveling exhibition at the Driscoll Student Center. The display features more than 1,100 backpacks representing students lost to suicide each year. Most of the backpacks are adorned with photos of those who killed themselves and personal messages from family and friends. The display promotes suicide awareness and prevention and offers insight into mental health disorders.
