DODGERS’ LASORDA IN THE HOSPITAL

Former Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda has been hospitaliz­ed, the team said Saturday.

The Dodgers said the 89year-old Hall of Famer is resting comfortabl­y, but no other details were released. The Orange County Register reported that Lasorda had been in a hospital for several days.

Lasorda was hospitaliz­ed last year because of back and shoulder issues, missing Los Angeles’ playoff series games against the Nationals. He also went to a hospital in August after a fall and required stitches.

Keuchel has pinched nerve. Astros ace Dallas Keuchel, who is off to a 7-0 start this season, is headed to the disabled list with a pinched nerve in his neck, the team announced.

Keuchel, who won the Cy Young Award in 2015, has a 1.84 ERA and 54 strikeouts and has held opponents to a .186 batting average in his nine starts this season.

This is his first trip to the disabled list in his majorleagu­e career. Braves acquire Cards’ Adams. The Braves, stinging from the loss of injured all-star Freddie Freeman, acquired first basemanmat­t Adams in a trade with the Cardinals. The Cardinals received minor-league infielder Juan Yepez.

Freeman was placed on the disabled list Thursday because of a nondisplac­ed left wrist fracture after being hit by a pitch. He is expected to miss 10 weeks.

Sanchez on third DL stint. Blue Jays pitcher Aaron Sanchez continues to have problems with a finger, and the right-hander was placed on the 10-day disabled list for the third time this season. The Blue Jays said Sanchez has a laceration on his middle finger.

David Price is scheduled to make one more minor-league rehab start with Triple-a Pawtucket on Wednesday before he rejoins the Red Sox to make his longawaite­d season debut. … The White Sox reached an agreement to sign Cuban prospect Luis Robert for a deal expected to be worth at least $25 million.
