Juancho Hernangomez, Malik Beasley and draft picks Tyler Lydon and Monte Morris will headline the Nuggets’ summer league roster in Las Vegas, which was announced by the team Friday.

The Nuggets open play July 7 against Houston at Cox Pavilion on the UNLV campus. The league schedule runs through July 17.

Denver’s roster includes former University of Colorado forward Xavier Johnson and former Boise State guard Thomas Bropleh, who played his prep basketball at George Washington High School.

Nikola Radicevic, a 6foot-5 guard from Serbia drafted by the Nuggets in the second round in 2015, and Petr Cornelie, a 6-11 forward from France they selected in the second round last summer, also will be on the team in Las Vegas.

Jamal Murray, a firstround pick in last year’s draft who is rehabbing from offseason surgery to repair core-related muscle injuries, isn’t on the Denver roster for Las Vegas.

Hernangomez, a 6-9 forward, averaged 4.9 points and three rebounds in 13.6 minutes over 62 games as a rookie last season.

Beasley spent much of his rookie season in the DLeague but performed well in significant action during Denver’s last two games of the season, both victories.

Lydon, a 6-9 forward out of Syracuse, was the 24th overall pick in the NBA draft June 22. The Nuggets selected Morris, a 6-3 point guard from Iowa State, with the 51st overall pick in the draft.

The Nuggets will be coached by assistant Micah Nori in Las Vegas. They start a four-day minicamp at the Pepsi Center on Monday.
