This summer, the Passport program opens up a world of two-for-one drinks at 68 Denver restaurants, bars, breweries and wineries. Each Denver Passport is $25, with a value of more than $350 in savings. The discounts are valid through Sept. 4. Pick one up at Judith & Joe, Queen City General Store or Fancy Tiger. You can also purchase online, but there’s an additional $2.95 in shipping. Each passport is valid for one twofer at each establishment. Colorado-grown Larkburger offers a daily happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m. Get any small burger for $3. It’s a savings of nearly 50 percent, depending on the burger. Add a small shake, small chili or beer for just $2. A frugal family of four can each get a burger and shake for $20. To keep costs to a minimum, order fries for a few bucks more for all to share.
