Executive shake up

The co-founder and CEO of Pandora ha sl eft the music streaming service. Tim Westergren ,w ho helped found the company 17 years ago, has relinquished his position and agreed t os tep dow nf rom Pandora’s board, too. The move comes as Pandora faces intensifying competitive pressure from Spotify and Apple Music. Chief Financial Officer Naveen Chopra will serv ea s interim CEO at Pandora while the company looks for apermanent successor to Westergren. The company also said that Michael Herring stepped dow na s president and that former MySpace and MTV Networks executive Jason Hirschhorn was joining Pandora’s board.
