The Den­ver Film So­ci­ety cel­e­brates the best of LGBTQ cinema, from doc­u­men­taries on drag bal­let com­pa­nies in Monte Carlo to avant garde films on new age po­etry. The fest started Wed­nes­day but con­tin­ues all week­end. On Satur­day, two shorts filmed lo­cally will be shown. The fes­ti­val will close on Sun­day with the Den­ver pre­miere of “God’s Own Coun­try,” a Män­ner Reader Jury Award win­ner at the Ber­lin In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val and the World Cinema Di­rect­ing Award Win­ner in the Dra­matic cat­e­gory at the Sun­dance Film Fes­ti­val.
