VEGAS» A federal judge in California LAS knocked out a class-action lawsuit that had been filed on behalf of fight fans and pay-per-view subscribers upset that boxer Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines wasn’t 100 percent healthy for his May 2015 fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Las Vegas.
Mayweather won a 12-round decision in an event that drew record cable TV viewership and criticism that the matchup between two of the best fighters of a generation failed to live up its billing.

Real Salt Lake forward Ricardo Velazco has been arrested on accusations he had unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
He was subsequently suspended by Major League Soccer.
Authorities said Velazco, 24, had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl in May in the Salt Lake City suburb of Draper. He was 23 years old at the time.
Suns’ Knight undergoes surgery.
Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, a month after he sustained the season-ending injury in a charity game in Florida.
The Suns said second-round pick Davon Reed has undergone surgery to repair a torn meniscus and will be sidelined an estimated four to six months.
