CANADA, MEXICO “VERY DIFFICULT” ON NAFTA
President Donald Trump is accusing Canada and Mexico of being “very difficult” at the negotiating table over the North American Free Trade Agreement, and threatening anew to terminate the deal.
Trump tweeted on Sunday morning that NAFTA is the “worst trade deal ever made.”
Trump said at a rally last week in Phoenix that he would “end up probably terminating” NAFTA “at some point.”
8 mountain climbers die in 3 different accidents in Alps.
BERLIN» Eight mountain climbers have died in three different accidents this weekend in the Austrian and Italian Alps.
The Austrian Red Cross said five of the climbers died Sunday in the Austrian Alps in Wildgerlostal on Mount Gabler, east of Innsbruck, and a sixth climber was severely injured, the Austrian news agency APA reported.
UK’s Labour backs staying in EU’s single market.
LONDON» Britain’s main opposition party announced Sunday that it backs the U.K. staying in the European Union’s single market and customs union during a “transition period” after Brexit, arguing that would give much-needed certainty to businesses and consumers.
The Labour Party says the ruling Conservative Party’s Brexit position — taking Britain out of the EU single market immediately after March 2019, when Britain formally leaves the bloc — would be “unnecessary” and “a highly risky path to take.”
Black-clad anarchists storm Berkeley rally.

-clad anarchists on Sunday stormed into what had been a largely peaceful Berkeley protest against hate and attacked at least five people, including the leader of a politically conservative group who canceled an event a day earlier in San Francisco amid fears of violence.
The group of more than 100 hooded protesters, with shields emblazoned with the words “no hate” and waving a flag identifying themselves as anarchists, busted through police lines, avoiding security checks by officers to take away possible weapons.
