PHILLIPE HEADS TOWARD FLA.

MIAMI» The depression soaking parts of western Cuba has formed into Tropical Storm Phillipe and is expected to dump heavy rains across South Florida and the Keys.

The National Hurricane Center said Saturday night that the center of Philippe would move off the northern coast of Cuba and into the Straits of Florida, and move across the Florida Keys or the southern tip of the Florida peninsula overnight.

LOS law enforcemen­t official said “Stranger Things” actor Charlie Heaton was denied entry into the U.S. this month after trace amounts of cocaine were found in his luggage when he arrived in Los Angeles.

The official said Friday a customs canine sniffed Heaton’s luggage when he arrived at Los Angeles Internatio­nal Airport last weekend and officers found traces of cocaine.

Heaton, a British citizen, returned to London.

Hip-hop love in Philly.

Here’s some real life love and hip-hop: Cardi B and Offset from Migos are officially engaged.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was onstage with Offset at a Power 99 Powerhouse concert in Philadelph­ia when Offset dropped to one knee and pulled out a diamond ring. Cardi B excitedly waved her hands and jumped around before Offset put the diamond on her hand.

Later, she showed off the bling — said to be eight carats — on social media.

Cardi B started off as an ex-stripper on the VH1 reality show “Love & Hiphop” before debuting “Bodak Yellow,” which became a No. 1 smash.

Offset is part of the three-member group Migos, whose hits include “Bad and Boujee” and “T-shirt.”

13 rescued from waves off Hawaii.

Hawaii lifeguards rescued 13 people as powerful waves pounded the northern shores of the island of Oahu, kicking off what officials say is the most dangerous time of the year.

Emergency services officials say the lifeguards took about 2,800 preventati­ve actions, such as stopping unprepared people from going into the ocean.

PITTSFIELD, of the Berkshire Museum’s decision to sell 40 works of art to raise money for renovation­s rallied Saturday to bring attention to the issue.

Save the Art-save the Museum has launched legal efforts to stop the sale. Seven pieces, including two Norman Rockwells, are scheduled for auction Nov. 13.
