OKLA.» Byron Pringle caught three touchdown passes and returned a kickoff for another score to help Kansas State stun No. 10 Oklahoma State 45-40 on Saturday.

Oklahoma State nearly erased a 29-point deficit in the second half, but Kansas State (6-5, 4-4 Big 12) held on to become bowl eligible for the eighth consecutiv­e season.

Pringle caught four passes for a careerhigh 166 yards. His kickoff-return touchdown covered 89 yards.

Freshman Skylar Thompson threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 93 yards and a score in his second start for the injured Jesse Ertz.

Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph passed for 425 yards and three touchdowns. James Washington caught eight passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns for the Cowboys (8-3, 5-3, No. 13 CFP).

• Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns, leading the No. 3 Sooners (10-1, 7-1, No. 4 CFP) to a 41-3 rout of Kansas (1-10, 0-8).

• True freshman quarterbac­k Shawn Robinson ran for 84 yards in his first career start to help No. 11 TCU (9-2, 6-2, No. 12 CFP) to a 27-3 win over Texas Tech (5-6, 2-6).

• Sam Ehlinger threw two touchdown passes and Texas (6-5, 5-3) became bowl eligible with a 24-14 victory over No. 24 West Virginia (7-4, 5-3).

In nonleague. Jalen Hurts passed for 180 yards and three touchdowns in a little more than a quarter, and Alabama (11-0, 7-0, No. 1 CFP) beat FCS team Mercer (5-6, 2-4) 56-0.

• Kelly Bryant threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns and was out of the game before halftime for No. 4 Clemson (10-1, No. 2 CFP) in a 61-3 win over The Citadel (5-6).

• Darius Slayton caught a 50-yard touchdown pass late in the first half to break a 7-7 tie, and No. 6 Auburn (9-2, No. 6 CFP) cruised past Louisiana-monroe (4-6) 42-14. In the SEC. Nick Chubb rushed for 151 and two touchdowns as No. 7 Georgia (10-1, 7-1, No. 7 CFP) beat Kentucky (7-4, 4-4) 42-13.

• Nick Fitzgerald threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Deddrick Thomas with 17 seconds remaining, and No. 17 Mississipp­i State (8-3, 4-3, No. 16 CFP) survived four fumbles to beat Arkansas (4-7, 1-6) 28-21.

• Derrius Guice and Darrel Williams combined to run for 165 yards and three touchdowns and No. 21 LSU (8-3, 5-2, CFP No. 20) beat Tennessee (4-7, 0-7) 30-10.

In the Big Ten. Ohio State scored on its first six possession­s — including J.T. Barrett’s 100th career touchdown pass — as the No. 8 Buckeyes (9-2, 7-1, CFP No. 9) routed Illinois (2-9, 0-9) 52-14 and clinched the East title.

• LJ Scott ran for 147 yards and a touchdown to lead No. 22 Michigan State (8-3, 6-2, No. 17 CFP) to a snowy 17-7 victory over Maryland (4-7, 2-6).

In the Pac-12. San Darnold passed for 264 yards and Ronald Jones II added 122 yards rushing and two touchdowns as No. 12 Southern Cal (10-2, 8-2, CFP No. 11) beat UCLA (5-6, 3-5) 28-23. Quarterbac­k Josh Rosen passed for 421 yards and three TDS for the Bruins.

• Bryce Love ran for 101 yards and a touchdown as No. 20 Stanford (8-3, 7-2, No. 22 CFP) beat Cal (5-6, 2-6) 17-14.

• Royce Freeman ran for four touchdowns and Oregon (6-5, 3-5) got a boost from the return of starting quarterbac­k Justin Herbert for a 48-28 victory over Arizona (7-4, 5-3).

• Demario Richard ran for 116 yards and three scores and Manny Wilkins threw for 167 yards and two TDS as Arizona State (6-5, 5-3) beat Oregon State (1-10, 0-8) 40-24.

In the American Athletic. Mckenzie Milton threw four touchdown passes and ran for a score, and No. 14 Central Florida (10-0, 7-0, No. 15 CFP) routed Temple (5-6, 3-4) 45-19.

• Darrell Henderson rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns, and Riley Ferguson threw for 320 yards and two scores as No. 18 Memphis (9-1, 6-1, No. 21 CFP) won the West Division with a 66-45 win over SMU (6-4, 3-4).

In the ACC. John Wolford threw his third touchdown of the game to Tabari Hines with 8:03 remaining, and Wake Forest (7-4, 4-3) held on to upset No. 25 North Carolina State (7-4, 2-5) 30-24.

In other games. Kurt Rawlings threw for 177 yards and a TD to lead Yale over rival Harvard 24-3, securing the Bulldogs’ first outright Ivy League championsh­ip in 37 years. … Colorado State-pueblo lost to topranked Minnesota State Mankato 16-13 in overtime in the first round of the NCAA Division II playoffs. — The Associated Press
