TERRY GLENN DIES AFTER CAR CRASH NEAR DALLAS

Former NFL receiver Terry Glenn died Monday after a one-vehicle rollover accident near Dallas that left his fiancée injured, officials said.

He was 43.

Glenn died shortly before 1 a.m. at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. Irving police were investigat­ing the cause of the wreck at 12:18 a.m. on eastbound Texas 114, said Chelsey Jones, a police department spokeswoma­n.

Glenn, a former star at Ohio State who lived in the Dallas area, was driving when the vehicle left the highway, struck a concrete barrier and rolled, authoritie­s said.

Glenn played parts of 12 seasons in the NFL — six with the Patriots, five with the Cowboys and one with the Packers. He made the Pro Bowl in 1999 as a member of the Patriots and finished his career with 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns.

Pryor headed to IR.

Redskins receiver Terrelle Pryor is heading to injured reserve after having ankle surgery, ending his first season with the team.

Coach Jay Gruden also said running back Chris Thompson will have surgery on his broken leg, as expected.

Thompson was hurt in Washington’s 34-31 overtime loss at the Saints on Sunday. Pryor was inactive.

Pryor finishes the season with 20 catches for 240 yards and one touchdown.

Rams’ Woods out.

Robert Woods injured his left shoulder late in Sunday’s 24-7 loss to the Vikings, and Rams coach Sean McVay said he is “probably going to be out a couple of weeks.”

Jones facing charges.

» Packers running back Aaron Jones is facing charges and possible NFL discipline after an arrest last month during a traffic stop.

Jones was charged with three offenses stemming from the Oct. 1 incident.

Jerry Jones’ request denied.

The NFL’s compensati­on committee denied Jerry Jones’ request that the league’s owners be allowed a final vote of approval on commission­er Roger Goodell’s contract extension, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

The committee also reiterated Jones should drop his threat to sue the league over Goodell’s deal.
