CONN.» Katie HARTFORD, Lou Samuelson scored 18 points, Azura Stevens added 17 and top-ranked UConn rallied from an 11-point, fourth-quarter deficit to beat No. 3 Notre Dame 80-71 on Sunday in the Jimmy V Classic.

The Huskies trailed 6554 early in the fourth quarter before scoring 21 of the next 26 points.

Men

Desi Rodriguez had a season-high 29 points, including an offbalance bank shot with eight seconds remaining, to rally Seton Hall to a 79-77 upset victory over No. 17 Louisville.

After Deng Adel’s leaner tied it at 77, the Pirates ran the clock down before Rodriguez got the ball and dribbled left. He fired a hard shot off the glass for the lead in a tense, backand-forth game between former Big East Conference rivals. The Pirates made their final seven shots.

HIGHLIGHTS

Jordan Davis had a gamehigh 27 points in Colorado’s 87-75 victory over Western State .… Nick Ward matched his season high with 22 points as part of a balanced offense that helped No. 3
