IRVING’S 32 HELP CELTICS HOLD ON

BOSTON» Kyrie Irving had 19 of his 32 points in the second half, helping offset a 40-point night by Giannis Antetokoun­mpo as the Celtics held off the Bucks 111-100 on Monday night.

Al Horford added 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Jayson Tatum chipped in 17 points to help Boston improve to an NBA-best 21-4. The Celtics have won five of their last six.

It was the third 40-point game this season for Antetokoun­mpo.

Stephen Curry had 31 points and 11 assists but sprained his ankle late in the game, and the Warriors came back from 21 points down late in the first half to defeat the Pelicans 125-115. Kevin Durant and Pelicans forward DeMarcus Cousins were ejected with 1:14 left in the game after bumping and jawing at one another. Curry left the arena on crutches. … Devin Booker scored 46 points and TJ Warren added 25 to lead the Suns to a 115-101 win over the 76ers. … Dwyane Wade and Kevin Love each scored 24 points, LeBron James had 23 and the Cavaliers beat the Bulls 113-91 for their 12th straight win. … Alec Burks led Utah with 27 points off the bench and the Jazz routed the Wizards 116-69. … Thaddeus Young scored 20 points to lead seven Indiana players in double figures as the Pacers routed the Knicks 115-97. … Kemba Walker had 29 points and seven assists, Dwight Howard had 12 points and nine rebounds and moved past former Charlotte coach Paul Silas and Dikembe Mutombo for 19th on the all-time NBA rebounding list, and the Hornets defeated the Magic 104-94. … Marc Gasol scored 21 points, Tyreke Evans added 16 and the Grizzlies snapped an 11-game skid with a 95-92 victory over the Timberwolv­es. … LaMarcus Aldridge led San Antonio with 17 points as the Spurs edged the

FOOTNOTES Livingston, ref suspended.

The NBA suspended Warriors guard Shaun Livingston for one game and removed official Courtney Kirkland from the officiatin­g rotation for a week because of an altercatio­n during a game Sunday. Livingston served his suspension Monday. Livingston bumped foreheads with Kirkland and was assessed a technical foul and ejected for the contact. A league review determined that Kirkland moved toward Livingston and shared responsibi­lity for the contact. … Derrick Rose will resume rehabilita­tion on his sprained ankle, clearing the way for his eventual return to the Cavaliers’ active roster.
