Five defendants pleaded guilty in Boulder County’s “Operation Crystal Stiletto” grand jury indictment — the multi-jurisdiction bust of an alleged methamphetamine enterprise spanning Northern Colorado.

At the Boulder County Justice Center on Friday morning, two others — Donald Rheubottom and David Thurston — pleaded not guilty and are scheduled for a two-week joint trial starting May 14, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors allege the group indicted is made up of dealers, distributors and manufacturers of methamphetamine and heroin. According to one indictment, there was mention of 68 pounds of methamphetamine and one dealer moving at least 3 pounds of methamphetamine a day.

He will be sentenced on Jan. 19.
