GINOBILI RESCUES SPURS; IRVING’S TYING SHOT MISSES

ANTONIO» Manu Ginobili hit SAN a 3-pointer with 5 seconds remaining and the Spurs overcame Kyrie Irving’s 36-point effort to beat Boston 105-102 on Friday night, snapping the Celtics’ fourgame winning streak.

Ginobili set up the winning basket by sneaking into the paint for an offensive rebound with 25 seconds left.

Irving created havoc at the AT&T Center. Irving finished 13 for 21, including 6 for 10 on 3pointers, but missed his final two 3s. His final 3-pointer rattled in and out at the buzzer.

FRIDAY’S HIGHLIGHTS

Victor Oladipo had 33 points and eight rebounds as the Pacers beat the Cavaliers 106-102, ending their winning streak at 13 games. Indiana is the first team to beat the Cavaliers twice this season. LeBron James had 29 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. … Kevin Durant scored 13 of his 36 points in the third quarter, and the Warriors completed an undefeated road trip with a 102-98 victory over the Pistons. The Warriors went 6-0 on this trip, playing the final two games without Stephen Curry, who is out at least two weeks with a sprained right ankle. … Lauri Markkanen had 24 points and 12 rebounds, and the Bulls beat the Hornets 119-111 in overtime, snapping a 10-game losing streak. … Zach Randolph scored a season-high 35 points, Buddy Hield led a fourth-quarter rally against his former team and the Kings beat the Pelicans 116-109 in overtime. … DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points, Serge Ibaka matched his season high with 21 and the Raptors pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat the Grizzlies 116-107. … Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 27 points and 11 rebounds, Khris Middleton scored 12 of his 31 points in the final 4:38, and the Bucks rallied for a 109-102 win over the Mavericks.

Eric Bledsoe added 24 points for the Bucks.

Leonard’s return is delayed.

Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard (right quad) will not make his season debut against the Suns on Saturday as originally hoped. A decision hasn’t been finalized for Leonard’s return, but the Spurs are now targeting Tuesday’s road game against the Mavericks. … Mavericks center Nerlens Noel underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, and there is no timetable for his return.
